25-Year-Old Assam Silchar Artist Sushanta Das Honored by Sneha Ullal with IIFA Award in Mumbai


((Mumbai) On Friday 28th June 2024, at the prestigious IIFA - Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award show held in Mumbai, artist Sushanta Das from Silchar, a village in Assam, was honored with the IIFA Award by actress Sneha Ullal. Sushanta's exceptional artwork caught Sneha Ullal's eye, and she praised him for his outstanding talent and success.

In addition to Sneha Ullal, several Bollywood celebrities were present at the event and admired Sushanta's painting. Among them were Kabir Duhan Singh, Shivangi Verma, Madalsa Sharma, Vijay Badlani, Himani Shivpuri, Urvashi Upadhyay, Jyoti Gauba, Nirmal Soni, Vinod Singh, and Sham Mashalkar.

Sushanta Das has been passionate about painting since childhood, often dedicating more time to his art than to his studies. Her talent is well-known in her village. A few months ago, while visiting Bageshwar Dham, Sushanta met Laxman Kumar, Managing Director of Rekola PR. Laxman was stunned by a painting Sushanta had made of Bageshwar Dham Maharaj and invited him to come to Mumbai, believing that the entire country should be aware of his remarkable skill and artistry.

Currently, Sushanta Das teaches painting classes in his village. He is also set to participate in the India Art Festival soon, showcasing his talent on an even larger stage.
