Lion Dr Namita Mishra , District Chairperson - Global Leadership Team, Lions International , District 3231 A4 organised "Maha Manthan" - a event to honour the Lions of the District for their extraordinary service to Mankind on Sunday at Navi Mumbai Sport Club, Vashi.
The event was a combination of entertainment and honouring and was attended by a gathering of over 300 . Retired IAS and past Municipal Commissioner Shri Subodh Kumar delivered his keynote address on Leadership. Event was graced by Lion Sanjeev Suryavanshi, 2nd Vice District Governor and Lion Nandlal Rajpal, Past District Governor of Lions District 3231A4. Lion Yashwant Thackeray and Rajendra Kejriwal were honoured with Lifetime Achievement whereas number of senior Lions were honoured with Lion Ratna Awards . Women Lions were presented with Naari Shakti Award and other Lions were presented with Trendsetter Awards. The Awards were presented at the hands of Actor Kashyap Parulekar and Actress Ruchira Jadhav.
GLT team comprising of Lion Pratap Mudaliar , Lion Vijay Ganatra, Lion Alok Mishra, Lion Gayatri Satam and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
A presentation on the Lionistic services of Dr. Namita Mishra was presented to the audience which inspiring to the Lions.
The evening ended on a happy note and memories to the audience.
